JVC just launched its new edition of the Everio series camcorder. The new Everio GZ-HM340 HD camorder is more refined from the previous version. The unit can shoot up to 1080i widescreen HD. The Everio GZ-HM340 HD camorder comes with a 16GB internal flash memory that can capture video up to 4 hours, depends on resolutions. It has Konica Minolta zoom lens of up to 20x optically. In addition, it has 1.37 megapixel CMOS sensor for image stabilization, light sensing and face detection.
Dell is ready to ship the whatchamacallit Alienware M11x by March 1st at a starting price of $799; a full configuration would cost you about $1969. Laugh if you may, Dell is not kidding. This 11.6-inch widescreen 1366×768 (720p) WLED sucker is expensive for the in between netbook and gaming rig range. We are not sure what to make of it.
