Nokia just came out with the latest blink blink gold edition of the Nokia 6700 smartphone; The Nokia 6700 Gold Edition is a classic device version of many years past.  This crazy gold bar Nokia 6700 is for stars and the pimp daddies and gold diggers alike.  The Nokia 6700 Gold Edition is not cheap either at around $550.

LG LB40 Phone Update

Update:  LG LB40 just released in India, bah!

LG pulled the plug on the leaked video of the LG LB40, claiming that it violated its copyright.  Well, yesterday LG actually released the official trailer of the LG LB40.  The trailer video looks impressive with all the bells and whistles.  Enough with the legal front, here are the specs:   5 megapixel camera on board,  800×345 touchscreen, HSPA, WiFi, GPS, and so on.

The Smartphone Heat is on for ITG xpPhone

ITGxpPhoneThe smartphone  competition is getting hot lately, which made ITG to up the ante with its new Windows XP operating system smart phone called the xpPhone.  Windows XP is still alive and well.  Today mobile processors are so well equipped that it could take on Windows XP as its operating system, so it makes sense to use an already stable operating system on your next mobile computer.  Smartphone manufacturers are caught up with the Windows XP trend, which why ITB xpPhone is now ready for pre-order in 3G networks such as AT&T, Orange, or Vodafone.   The price range of this phone is from $500 -$700, and it  is not known when it will be released.  It is likely these smartphones will phase out the netbook trend.

Motorola Droid Smartphone Officially at Verizon

It is official! The Motorola Droid phone is available at Verizon today for $200 with a two-year contract. The Motorola Droid equipped with 3.7-inch touchscreen and Android 2.0 operating system. This OS is powerful for fast web surfing. The screen has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixel display.

The Droid is about 0.54 inch thick, a little bit thicker than the iPhone 3GS (0.48-inch thick). It has a 40-key, slide out QWERTY keypad. The QWERTY keypad is a bit flat and shallow, which may be harder to feel the buttons when typing. Also, the “End” and “Talk” keys are missing on the keypad (design error?). With a standard battery, the Motorola Droid weights about 6 ounces (iPhone 3GS is about 5 ounces). The dimensions are about 4.56 L x 2.36 W.

The thinness of the devise allows it to be inserted into all latest mobile phone generation such as Iphone, HTC, Nokia that have a very thin SIM slot.
