Brother is just not interested in only printers these days.  It is quietly working on a retinal imaging display where you can view images or videos through a peep hole.  These high tech glasses let you view just about anything in compete privacy.  Buck Roger in the Twenty Fifth Century, here we come; space is the limit here (just use your imagination).  How does this work?

The glasses technology called Retinal Imaging Display (RID) which projects a small light ray directly onto the your retina.  This produces an image in front of the you.  According to Brother, each projected image is transparent and is about 10 square centimeters at a distance of one meter. The resolution of the projected images have a resolution of 800 x 600 and at a fresh rate of 60 Hz.  The money question is “So what devices can this RID glasses support”?  I would love to hook one of these into an iPod or the new Nokia N900 mobile computer.

By next next Brother should have the commercial glasses readily available.  No word on the price yet.  Mark this as your Christmas present for next year!  Just don’t watch too much porn with it or else you will burn your eye ball out   .

I wonder if you can watch a movie with this? Does this has any side effects on your eye if you watch on it too long?

Well, if you plan to watch porn with it then yes, it will burn your eye ball out. Haha.
