3M Company Introduces its new MPro12 Pocket Projector

Posted by Vincent On September - 30 - 2009

3m_mpro_1203M, the company who pioneered the pocket projector is now making it even better. The MPro120 projects images from 8 to 50 inches and incorporates next-generation features, including built-in sound. The MPro12 is about the size of the LG Chocolate phone with dimensions around 2.5 x 0.75 x 4.0 inches.  It’s also one of the most affordable full-featured microprojectors on the market.  The MPro120 can turn almost any white space on the wall into a projection screen. With an energy-efficient LED technology, it can deliver a whopping 20,000 hours of operation (typical LED life), which can output images at 640 x 480 resolution.

The MPro 120‘s VGA port, Composite adapter and Female-to-male RCA converter allow users to connect just about any device. And with 3M’s enhanced battery life, you can enjoy a full two-hour movie without plugging in.  That will typically last between 2 and 4 hours depending on usage.  Aiming the devices’ projected image can be accomplished by adjusting a small tripod that flips down as a stand.  The MPro120 costs about $350.00, and you don’t need to carry those heavy projectors to a presentation anymore.

[..YouTube..] @ud777 To our knowledge, the Blackberry has no video out feature, therefore you cannot connect a Blackberry to any projection device. The MP180 however is the first to allow files to be transferred from your Blackberry, via Bluetooth and projected.
