Samsung will be introducing the successor to the Galaxy S, and it is called the Galaxy S II. It features a new 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen. It is thinner, lighter, and faster than the Galaxy S that preceded it, while implementing the new Android 2.3.3 OS (Gingerbread).
The Samsung Galaxy S II is 8.49mm (0.33 inches) thick. The screen, it’s fronted by one continuous sheet of glass, which protects a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display. In addition, a bunch of sensors and a front-facing camera at the top, and two capacitive Android keys at the bottom. As we found out, it is powered by a 1.2GHz ARMv7 dual-core processor.
Along with the new Super AMOLED Plus screen, the Samsung Galaxy S II comes with a set of TouchWiz 4.0 customizations that will actually enhance the user experience. But best of all, it sports an 8-megapixel camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S II is a remarkable smartphone. It may be the best Android smartphone, and would be definitely the right phone to buy if you’re not in a constraint.
