Alienware M11x gamable at $799

Alienware announced a small laptop which is nearly a “netbook” like size with the new Nvidia GT335M graphics card. The Alienware M11x will be priced at around $799. The Alienware M11x has enough juice to run over 6.5 hours long and and weighing under 4.5 lbs. The 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 LED-backlit display is bright, sharp and has wide horizontal viewing angles.

Whatever you call it, the Alienware M11x is thin and light compare to other laptops at its caliber. Inside, it got a ULV Core 2 Duo paired with a switchable NVIDIA GT335M GPU, making it one of the most powerful small laptops currently on the market. You can also an upgrade to higher performance CPU such as a 1.3GHz SU7300 Core 2 Duo and 4GB of RAM to total in at about $950.

The Alienware M11x has curvy shapes and sharp edges with a nice aesthetic feature of the LED lighting effects, which you can set the keyboard backlight in nearly any color and have  them fade between two colors, or just blink continuously. On the sides, it includes an array of ports such as VGA, a powered USB ports, Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort, a card reader with FireWire jack input, a mic jack,  and dual headphone ports.

Although heavy gaming is not recommended in the Alienware M11x due to its screen size, but you can run many current 3D games at around 30 frames per second in medium graphics setting.
