Sprint added Windows Mobile 6.5 update to HTC Touch Pro2

Sprint is releasing the Windows Mobile 6.5 update for HTC Touch Pro2 users, who have been waiting for it since last fall. Windows Mobile 6.5 is not as powerful like the Windows 7 Phone Series, which is the latest phone operating system that came out of Microsoft to compete with the current operating systems in the smartphone market.

The Windows Mobile 6.5 update allow functionality of an updated ROM is now available for HTC Touch Pro2. This ROM Upgrade will let you experience with intuitive HTC Sense interface. It let you put shortcuts to the most important people, web sites, or most used applications right on the home screen. Prioritize your essentials by arranging the tabs of the key phone features to suit your needs.

This Sprint’s HTC Touch Pro2 smartphone has a 3.6 inch, WVGA (800 by 480 pixel) touchscreen and a QWERTY keyboard. The Sprint’s HTC Pro2 runs on a Qualcom 528 Mhz processor with 288 Mb of RAM. Other features of the HTC Pro2 A 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS, microSD slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
