Dell Vostro V13 at an affordable price

Posted by Vincent On March - 17 - 2010

The Dell Vostro V13 laptop is a slimmer, lighter and $1000 cheaper than its mighty brethren the Dell Adamo laptop. Starting price at just $499 with a Linux operating system, the Dell Vostro V13 laptop is sleek, and doesn’t skim much. It weighs in about 3.5 pounds and delivers a full-sized laptop experience that won’t weigh you down.

The Dell Vostro V13 laptop is powered by an Intel Ultra-low-voltage processor, which help to manage energy efficiency while providing enough juice for everyday computing. Think of it as a beef up Intel Atom processor.

With the Vostro V13 laptop, you’ll get a full-sized keyboard and a 13.3″ display, more than any netbook can provide. Instead of using costly brushed-aluminum casing like the Dell Adamo, plastic casing is used to reduce weigh and cost at the same time.

The economy package of the Vostro V13 laptop starts at $549 comes with an Intel Celeron M Processor ULV 743 (1M cache, 1.3 Ghz, 800 Mhz FSB), Windows 7 Home Premium OS, 2 GB of DDR-3 1066Mhz memory, 250 GB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive, Mobile Intel Graphics card 4500MHD, 1.3 MP webcam, wireless card 802.11b/g, and 6-cell battery.
